Dear SwimAmerica Parents,
below are the results from the July 24 swim meet, as well as important upcoming dates. Everyone had a great time at the meet. Thanks to Coach Sebastian who set up the tents, the timers were able to sit in the shade. Many swimmers showed excellent improvements.
Our swimmers range in age from 5 to 14 and are in levels 6–10. Please compare your child’s times with their own times from previous meets. Times in parentheses are from the June meet.

Babysitting
Some of our coaches are also available for babysitting. This is independent of SwimAmerica. If you are interested, you can ask Coach Biggi for some phone numbers.
Preteam/Swimfit
Evaluations for preteam level 9&10 swimmers will be held during the last week of the first summer session, June 27 – July 2nd .
Please let me know by e-mail if your child is interested in joining the swim team or just wants to finish level 10. The same applies for swimfit.
Going forward, if any swim lessons are canceled due to thunderstorms, preteam and Swimfit swimmers will continue practice with dryland exercises. It is important for swimmers to attend these classes as they prepare to join the swim team in the future. Dryland practice will focus on strengthening exercises and proper form for all four competitive strokes. Please have your child bring a towel. Swimmers will meet under the blue covers in front of the weight room windows.
